While I have a dedicated staff of home stagers and provide staging services free for all my listings, that’s unusual. Most sellers and their agents contract with outside staging companies.
Since staging happens prior to sales going on the market, it’s a good bet that data on staging activity is a leading indicator of future listings. There’s no hard data but there is recent anecdotal evidence that you can expect to see more For Sale signs.
