Printed just after Lafayette’s Rock the Plaza series finished in late June, one side lists the remaining summer music concerts in Moraga and Orinda, as well as advanced dates for traditional local fall events, including the Lafayette Art & Wine Festival (Sept 21-22), Moraga Pear Festival (Sept 28), and Lafayette Reservoir Run (Oct 27).

Flip the card over and you’ll see something new! The “Lamorinda Community Picnic” is planned for Thursday, August 15, from 4-6:30pm, in Moraga Commons, leading up to that night’s Zebop! concert.

A first for Lamorinda, the Community Picnic going to be an old-fashioned picnic, complete with games like tug-of-war, where residents from Lamorinda’s three communities of Lafayette, Moraga, and Orinda will face off with one another.
