It’s always fun to list a home built by Jack Marchant, which is a good thing because there are a lot of them in Lafayette and throughout Lamorinda!

Jack Marchant’s Impact on Lafayette’s Neighorhood Landscape

From the 1950’s through the 1970’s, Lafayette builder/developer Jack Marchant embraced the then modern living concept and built more than 2000 California Ranch style homes in Lamorinda. This includes many homes in Burton Valley, Silver Springs, Peardale, Happy Valley, Silver Dell, and Springhill, among others. No question, he left his mark on Lafayette’s neighborhood landscape.
