Why the Five Star Real Estate Professional Award Matters

Prospective clients often ask about my experience and the many millions of dollars in residential real estate transactions the Dana Green Team works on every year representing homebuyers and home sellers.

It’s a big number, one that has been growing each year.  These are the same transaction numbers that have secured the Dana Green Team’s position as the top producers in Lafayette since 2008, Lamorinda since 2012, and Contra Costa County since 2011.

I am proud of our work and happy to share these transaction statistics because they represent something that is really important to us and should be critical for every client – customer satisfaction. Our transaction growth continues to be fueled by satisfied clients who refer their friends and return for help with additional transactions. 2015 has outpaced 2014, and we’re already gearing up for 2016.

Real estate is a hyper local business and, in truth, what matters most isn’t the volume of transactions, it’s each client’s experience with their own transaction. I am grateful for every referral and every returning client as each represents proof that we are succeeding in delivering on our promise of 5-star customer service.

In a similar way, I am proud of earning the 5 Star Real Estate Professional Award for 2015, the third year in a row. I wouldn’t have received this honor without the support and confidence of others, including the rest of the Dana Green Team.

The 5 Star Award starts with a 3rd party nomination. Winners are determined by a series of factors, the most important of which are results of client and industry peer evaluations on key criteria I believe are critical for an excellent client experience. Everyone is asked to evaluate only real estate agents that they have actually worked with on a recent transaction.

Real estate industry peers are asked to evaluate real estate agents on four criteria:

  1. Industry expertise
  2. Customer service skills
  3. Market knowledge
  4. Negotiation skills
